Hoodstone is a new small independent Glasgow based
publisher specialising in established stories on Scottish
themes by Glasgow or West of Scotland authors.
With authors to support and books to promote
market and sell, Hoodstone Press will still be able to
provide a few young people with a definite
commitment to a career in publishing, with a
worthwhile Volunteer programme covering some or all
of the key professional tasks highlighted above.
Hoodstone is looking for a miminum commitment of 4-
6 hours a week up to as many as they feel comfortable
to offer on a rolling programme. There will be no
minimum commitment about length of stay, but a
general expectation of a commitment to be a
Volunteer for at least 6 months or more, depending on
individual circumstances.
Priority will be given to young people based in Glasgow
and the West of Scotland. If interested please submit
your CV and a Covering Letter of Interest to
mail.hoodstonepress@gmail.com
We look forward to hearing from you!
